The Suprise
Dinner by candle light
 My man well dressed
 A fancy dinner place
 I'm looking my best.

 After our meals
 He takes me back home
 A surprise is waiting
 But I do not know

 He covers my eyes
 And counts down from three
 Removing my hands
 The surprise I now see

 Rose petals and balloons
 Candles and chocolates galore
 I turn around to him,
One of his knees on the floor.

 My hands to my mouth
 My eyes in soft tears
 But a smile then forms
 As my make-up now smears

 He grabs my left hand,
And stares deep into my eyes
 " Honey I Love you,
Do you like your surprise? "

 I nod in response.
 As he then proceeds
 " Baby I Love you,
 So please. Marry me? "
