Summer time is the best
Sometimes I even fly out west
California is the place to be
In the shade, under a nice big tree
The beach is a lot of fun
Getting a tan, lying under the sun
California has the best shops
I love going in and seeing all the tops
When I go to L.A., I go on all the rides
My favorite one is the great big slide
We eat at nice restaurants for dinner each night
Then one night after we ate I flew my kite
The hotels we stayed in were very nice
But they were at a very high price
I swam all day
At the beautiful bay
My flight home was very long
So I fell asleep singing a slow song
