The Sky Would Be Blue
Your eyes danced around
Your warming smile
Knowing what we’re bound
To be in a few years
Settling outside the door
In your arms I was hung
I felt like I could soar
Like an eagle hung in the sky
Twas the end of the day
When night had begun to fall
For I was curled into you
But for some reason I felt so tall
Closing my eyes with you
In my sight
I would know that only the
Sky would be blue.
