My Weeds and Flowers
November 2, 2007
I pull them up
One by one.
Hoping they won't come back.
I do my best
To water the flowers.
But weeds only grow.
But they are my weeds
and my flowers.
And they are my responsibility.
Beautiful flowers
And ugly weeds
Grow together in the bed.
You take what you get
And make things better.
At least ther are flowers at all.
