OUTSIDE
I can feel the wind in my hair, blowing it just like a hair dryer--except cold not warm, but cold like a winters day.
I can hear the brown, crisp leaves crunch under my feet as I walk. I hear birds chirping songs and talking to each other. Waling to the creek I can hear the ice cold water rolling off the rocks and into the creek.
I can see brown, grey, and silver fish swimming up the cold rocky creek, back down, and back up again. The strong current doesn’t seem to bother them.
As I return to my house, it gets warm, very warm like a summers day. I go to the couch and fall asleep under the warm safety of my blanket.
