A wave in the gleaming or gloomy ocean
Has ups and downs-
Days and nights-
Is always in motion-
It never dies.

This is life-
A wave that will rise once it falls,
Will crash against walls,
Only to briefly stall,
Forming a new wave and direction.

Life – an inconsistent wave,
Travels at varied speeds with different needs.
Friends and family I cannot be without.
They raise me up when I am down and
Steer me right when I am swept away.

Life is a gift we all embrace,
And is cherished even through the problems we face, because-
When a wave falls it will rise-
It will never die.
