Everything I’ve felt everything I’ve known.
Came from everything he’s shown
He’s picked me up brought me down.
He tried to please us but
No one has ever thanked him once.
Things aren’t what they used to be.
But he still goes to baseball games with me.
Games we’ve lost and games we’ve won.
No one has ever thanked him once.
I should have seen what he was teaching me.
Sitting at the game talking to me.
It wasn’t just a game.
