Beneath the Ice
Inside I am alone
I feel the ice
Breaking beneath my feet.
I fall into the water gasping for breath
Then,
I give up and let myself sink.
I drown in my own sorrows
As I drown in the water
ALONE
Yet I feel no pain
Here in the cold
Freezing water
Turning to ice again all around my body.
I am gone and no one but GOD notices my death
He mourns for me
And allows me to come Home and cry in the corner.
