The Thunderous Rush

Winds whisper and rush through
golden-brown leaves,
Erupting all around in sweet song.
"Hush, hush," they sing as they fly,
Joyously laughing low and long.
Spiralling high into the depths of tall trees,
They make every leaf flutter and shake.
Rising in the volume of their thunderous noise,
Until the very Earth's floor seems to quake.
Filling every breath of air they can touch,
Their lulling voices rise and fall.
Gentle and sweet as soft ocean waves,
Sighing their mezmerizing call.
