If Only
If only they wouldn’t call me names
If only they would stop those mean games
If only they would just see my way
If only if only if only one day
I do not see how it is fun
Just to put me under the gun
They laugh and sneer and pick on me
I see the door out but where is the key
How come some people just love to do that?
They just walk up and take my hat
They throw it to each other around and around
They see how long they can keep it off the ground
They come for me and put me in a bide
They might seem happy but there’s something inside
I think it’s a feeling that makes them fake
Something inside that the just can’t shake
They use that’s feeling to fuel their anger
And if they can’t control it
It could mean danger
If only they’d stop if only they’d cease
If only they’d just let up if only at least
