Windows
Looking through the windows,
 I see a sunny day,
Not a worry, not a cloud,
 Nothing bad to say.
I see smiles through the windows,
Look at that bright blue sky,
There is music in the windows,
 The windows never lie.

 Looking through the windows,
 I see a violent snow,
 The glass starts icing over,
 You’re facing a harsh blow.
 Lacking warmth, the windows say,
Please keep your chin up high,
There is longing in the windows,
 The windows never lie.

 Looking through the windows,
 I see a twisted road,
 A billion other paths,
 Which way should you go?
I see construction through the windows,
 Building ideas to the sky,
There are questions in the windows,
 The windows never lie.

 Looking through the windows,
 I see a fireplace,
 The warmth, burning excitement,
There is no need for space.
I see craving through the windows,
Notice all the tears are dry,
 There’s admiration in the windows,
 The windows never lie.

I see thoughts written on the windows,
 I see emotions, can’t deny,
 Everything’s found through the windows,
 For windows never lie.
