Seduced into wicked obsession
Comfortable with fate unwritten
It sleeps with my shadow
Whispers me to gentle intoxication
And lures my reason away
When nothing stays in focus
The world won't stop lying
I am adequate solely as an
Addict
Rendered translucent as an answer,
Even intolerable to my
Own question
Never is when my itch will calm
Stolen beats from a heart I already sold
March on, ignorant
It’s the only love I'd bleed for
If play dumb at its naked tease
And lay dead longing to breathe
There might be a moment
A chance
It’ll humor me.
