Forever More
Daddy’s little girl,
That’s what he always calls me,
I’m daddy’s little girl,
And I’ll be forever more.
Dad’s always been there,
Through the toughest obstacles:
His smile’s surely there,
And it will be forever more.
From his big warm hugs,
To his everlasting support;
He makes me laugh and grin,
And he will forever more.
Now it’s my turn,
To be eternally there,
Whenever dad needs me,
I’ll be there forever more.
I’ll be in the car,
On the road to the hospital,
I’ll be praying to God,
And I will be forever more.
Through all the hard times,
All dad’s hernias and lungs,
I’ll be there holding on;
I’ll be there forever more.
I’ll try to be strong,
‘Cuz I won’t let it happen,
Dad’ll hang in there: for me,
And he will forever more.
Daddy’s little girl,
That’s what he always calls me.
I’m daddy’s little girl,
And I’ll be forever more.
