Daydreamer
Far away from fields
And the heat of the day,
There is a vacant space,
Completely void of reality.
Everyday she soaks the space
With color
And her happiness.
Sometimes a radiant horizon
Where the sun peeks slowly
From behind the sea.
Others days it is a hushed field
Where she stares
At the clouds for hours.
She has never worked,
She travels five days a week.
She has never sweat, ached, or cried.
She is sweeping through the heavens
Where even the wind
Covets her freedom.
