Here I sit, clumped in my chair,
Waiting.
Waiting for the bad news to come,
But it doesn’t……..
I know it’s going to happen,
But yet it doesn’t


I sit here wondering,
Wondering when it’ll happen,
Where I’ll be when it does
It worries me to wait forever,
I have hopes of it never happening,
But I know it’s for the best

I sit and day-dream about you,
About when it might happen,
I hope it doesn’t happen soon,
I hope to see you again before,
Before the bad news comes,
Before more tears are shed

I’ve shed many tears over this,
This bad news I wait for,
There’s never a day I don’t think about you,
About how sick you look,
About how much pain your in,
About how much pain everyone’s in

But for now I must sit and wait…
