I’m walking through the woods
when I see a little speck of light.
At first I think it’s a fire fly,
then I notice little specks of glowing dust falling from it.

I stop and it lands on my foot.
I look down and see a little person with wings – a farie staring up at me.
The farie gets up and motions me to follow, I do.
We go back the way I came.
When we reach the tall grass,
she spreads her arms wide, and then extends them in front of herself.
A few blades of grass separate, then they all separate and a tunnel appears she motions for me to follow her into the tunnel.
I follow.
I see a whole new world I never knew existed.
Sometimes now when I go in the woods
I see the faire and she lets me visit her world again
but most of the time I don’t see her at all.
