I was fine, though.
I knelt beside my beloved black Arabian and begged him to get up.
He looked at me with a said expression in his eyes,
Like he was trying to say, "I tried."
Then he closed his eyes and he was dead.
I pounded the track with my fist.
I hugged his neck and wept.
Thunder Bolt was the best horse ever.
Thunder Bolt, you are my friend, I will never forget you.
