Death
I run as fast as possible
Trying to escape it
But as time passes
As the clock ticks
It comes closer.
You can not run from it, you can’t hide
Because it will always find you
You can’t cheat on it,
Because no matter what
IT IS your destiny.
I look left, it’s there, I look right, it’s there
Slowly it sucks the life out of me,
Everything dies with a slight touch of him,
Flowers shrivel in its presence.
Like a candle light, hot and bright when first ignited
So alive, with time it slowly dies off
But when the slightest touch of a breeze kisses it,
It’s gone, disappeared, non existing.
