"Love to be Loved"

Once in a garden of perfect peace
Where the sun set west and rises east
She lay in bitter innocence between tree and tree
Pleading with her eyes nestled in sea

In her hands was the might blade
That cast her out of promising shade
Lest she be so bold to present the trick
One small red apple from the serpent

Who would’ve known how she would affect me
Or what her consequence would turn out to be
Encompassed in her eyes of unsure plea
My vision ends with the apple on the tree

This is a very well written piece, and I love how it takes its origin from genesis. You applied imagination and personality to the very old story, and you translated its meaning to a poetic form. Well thought out, my friend.
