anger seething
Always boiling, anger seething
Never ever lets us stop grieving.
Pulling my mind, stealing sunshine
Overseas men who were so kind.
Giving up their lives, their homes, their scathe-less fates
Simply to keep others safe.
Fear and hatred, breaking my heart
Why, oh why did it have to start?
A petty crime, some long-forgotten feud?
What is the point of blaming our prelude?
Because of evil black, or hatred deep?
War is not what I will reap.
