"Those Were the Days My Friend"
Those were the days,
My friend.
The days of Red Rover.
Your favorite game, my friend.
The days of tag and tattling.
But you never tattled, my friend.
When you'd barge into my house
And say, "How are you, my friend?"
But you changed yourself;
Moved on, my friend.
To that needle right there,
My friend.
It has ruined your reputation,
and has ruined my best friend.
Of course I'll miss you.
In my heart, you're still a friend.
But I must leave you
And your needle, my friend.
I'm sorry but I need to move on.
Our friendship has to end.
