'Lies'
'Lies'
I just lay here thinking
All the thoughts flowing
In and out of my mind
Why can’t I seem to find happiness?
I lock myself inside these four walls
Of my secluded mind
Forcing myself to be someone
I’m not
Someone with fake smiles and laughter
I tell myself every day every minute
That it will all be okay
I fall for every word I say to myself
Hoping that some day it will be true.
