"Express"
I hide my feelings for you
Behind my words and facial expressions
I keep my true heart under discretion
Love isn't exactly my profession
But its the only thing I can pass a test in
While showing the best of my heart
And holding the rest in
I struggle to express
Because my words make a mess
I transfer thoughts to ink
And let their meaning sink
The words are merely a link
To the things I feel
To the things I think
Again, I attempt to express
But my words are a pool of sess
"I think I love you."
Is my tongue's quivering best.
Forgive my heart
And its inability to express
