Fading Fast
Remember the memories we shared,
And the times you always cared?
The things that mattered were never left unspoken –
Who ever knew this heart could be broken?
Remember lying in your bed,
My head against your head?
I could stay locked in that moment forever,
Just the two of us, being together.
Remember when all we wanted was to be just us two?
Didn’t matter what we did, because we were like glue.
Special times, like the random drives –
I thought our relationship would always survive.
Just being with you made me smile.
Now, it hasn’t been that way for a while.
Remember when nothing mattered?
But now, all of our dreams are shattered.
I wanted to always remember you and me,
But the memories are fading,
Can’t you see?
