Starting with a couple,
the resting day
before the weeks, two,
of the will-be enclosure,
it is well beyond
the line of end.
Take me in,
the crevice still lies--
too much longer
is to be
too late in time.
Shedding the resistance,
will this be it
that leads to the demise
of what Hera had in mind?
Abandon what wisdom
has given to this judgment,
and discard
the notice of the flame
that burns within my chest--
rather,
hold the fire that roars
remotely amid tenderness
and feed to that
that should be no less
than hidden in wilderness.
