The silent go unknown.
This is their temporary home.
Where do I belong?
How many times must I be wrong
till I see
the place I'm supposed to be?
Why do the butterflies fly away?
Maybe they needed to go back to where they were before.
Maybe they don't even know themselves anymore.
Maybe they wanted to stand by the sea.
Maybe they needed to get away for a while, to breathe.
Maybe they needed to scream to the sky.
Maybe it was time to say goodbye.
Maybe there will be a day
when they escape the lies and empty promises.
Butterflies fly away.
