Dear god, save me,
The tide keeps turning,
Save for the whisper of my yearning,
Entranced, enthralled, held in his keep,
Within the silence of the deep,
Within my mind, my soul, my heart,
The threads of time shall fall apart,
This feeling so foreign I implore,
To what it is I would explore,
If only I could venture in,
Would this nightmare start to end,
Or would the darkness then begin?
