Faded Bond of Trust

It doesn’t matter does it?
You say you don’t trust me
I always did see
That you never trusted me anyway
I don’t sit and wonder
About what could have been
I’m not dumb enough to waste my time
Even if I speak
You won’t believe me
So I won’t say anything to you
I could sit and write a suicide note
And you wouldn’t believe me
Until I am actually dead
I could sit and write a runaway note
And you wouldn’t believe me
Until I am actually gone
I could sit and hide my cuts
I could sit and tell you what’s wrong
And you wouldn’t believe me
Until it’s time to send me away
I know you don’t trust me
You think everything I say is a lie
Just know that if anything should happen to me
You should have just listened to me and not write it off as a lie
