As I Sit All Alone

You and I had had it good
Until that dreadful day
When I said I couldn’t anymore
I didn’t want life to be that way.
We were changing,
I was stupid,
I shouldn’t have said a thing
But now I’m getting older
And I still don’t have a ring
Sometimes I hear about you
And your wonderful family and friends
And, as I sit all alone,
I wonder
Would I do it all again?
