Friday night lights
Our future is so bright
Driving way to fast
Slow down kids this isn’t going to last
Friday Night Blitz then off into the night
Our parents always wondering if we would be alright
Coming in late and sleeping until noon
These are the days passing so soon
We want to hold on but at the same time we want to let go
All we know is right here at home
Who knows what the future holds
We can only hope that when we go our separate ways we will remember that these were the days
