This Time of Year
Summer is long gone and over
No more flowers, green or clover
You may be sad and missing it
But fall and winter are here to stay a bit
The air gets colder day-by-day
The leaves changing colors, fading away
The evidence of fall now lay on the ground
To the white of winter we are bound
The frigid cold air is what you may dread
There is no reason to hide, just break out your sled
Snow angels, candy canes, and hot chocolate
Everything is so perfect you have to admit
