Why Can't I

Why Can't I tell you that I love you.
I always lose my chance.
My heart begins to beat faster,
And begin to choke in my stance.
Why can't I tell you that i want you.
I try to move close.
You seem unintentionally to move father away,
Like a slowly dying rose.
Why can't I tell you that I need you.
I run away and hide.
I fear these feelings will not be returned,
Forever feeling broken inside.
Why can't I tell you that I love you.
I gaze at you standing there.
Suddenly my words are gone,
"Your the one and I care..."
