I curl up on my chair,
with no worries,
no cares.
I slip my headphones on,
volume blasted.
The tune is perfect,
yet it all sounds wrong.
Shut the blinds,
lock the door.
The music's bass sinks
down into my core.
They say I should move on,
forget you.
But I can't just slip you off
like a shoe...
Because...
I love you.
