Dark and light
White and black
Why is white the light,
And black the dark?
Can we not see white clearly on black?
Just as we see black on white?
Day and night
Why is night the dark?
The black,
Or the white
Does not the moon shine at night?
As the sun shines at day?
Life and death,
Why is not life death?
Do we not live in both?
Is death even real?
Is life?
With Christ both are,
And so it doesn’t matter if black
Is white
Or night is day
Or life is death
Or does it?
