It’s not all about keepin’ score
It really is a whole lot more
Friends and fun
Teamwork and trusting
High fives and “good try”s
“Good job”s and “next time”s
Ice cream afterward,
So much sweeter with friends
Cheering our favorite cheer
Even louder than our loudest if we lost
“Let go”s and “we won!”s
And even “let’s just have fun”s
If we loose, none of us care
We’re there to have fun and try our best
And let loose our anger while pounding the ball
And build up our character
And best of all, build our friendship
