Fly Away Jade
I remember a sweet time ago
When jades were as blue as grey
No matter how I loved for you
 It harmed you in everyway
As if my fingers held the fire
And my eyes held all the ice
 You’re brooding nature was torture
And you always spoke in lies
Somehow, my love, it does not seem fair
 I loved you even so
And as you left me standing there
I wished you didn’t have to go
No matter how we burned the other
Threw knives or forks or spoons
 I’d give anything for another-
 Another day with you.
