Tell Them If You Must
There’s one right way
To make a secret;
Intentionally.
There’s one great way
To break my trust;
Faking the silence
That occupies us all.
There’s two ways
You can fish my soul out:
Brutal force or
Annoying analyzing.
There’s two ways
You can test my truthfulness:
My eyes are glazed over.
My guilty hands are shaking.
I’m the worst liar.
There’s three things
That are still bothering me:
My biggest excuse is one I can never use.
My most hurtful moments were self-inflicted.
Even after you tell,
It’s still weighing me down.
