Links in the Chain
walking the line
between human and divine
a tug and a pull
of a brain within a skull.
pulls the link,
pulls the chain,
pulls the web,
so we think
that the pain
is the web.
but,
what of the fault,
what of the weak
of each chain of this vast web?
is it a spider,
walking,
talking,
spreading poison?
is it us,
and thus,
our hearts above our heads?
because,
although we blame,
the circumstances which simply will not stay the
same,
the link,
pulls the chain,
pulls the web.
