My neighborhood is such a noisy place
My neighborhood is such a noisy place
When I walk I can hear the nuts crackle
When I take out the trash I hear cars zoom down the street
When I come home from school I hear jackhammers ringing
And when I’m inside I hear wailing sirens
When I’m in the backyard I hear the woofing of dogs
And when I’m at my neighbors house I hear the hissing of cats
When I try to sleep I hear thumping music
And when I wake up I hear lawn mowers
Even at night
My noisy neighborhood isn’t quiet
