Possibilities
It’s impossible to think that you’ll leave
It’s impossible to believe that this has happened
It’s impossible to be happy, knowing you’re gone
It’s impossible to feel alive when everything seems dead

It’s impossible for me to forget you
It’s impossible for me to love another
It’s impossible for me to stop the flow of tears
It’s impossible to stay strong when I feel so weak

It’s nigh impossible to smile because you’ll be gone
It’s nigh impossible to think clearly when I’m blinded by grief
It’s nigh impossible to not think about you
It’s nigh impossible to wait for anything

It’s nigh impossible for me to step away from you
It’s nigh impossible for me to grasp what’s going on
It’s nigh impossible for me to have a single thought that doesn’t relate to you
It’s nigh impossible for me to not apologize for what’s happened

It’s possible that my heart is being ripped out of my chest
It’s possible that I’ll keep in touch
It’s possible that I’ll never see you again
It’s possible that my grief will last forever

It’s likely that you’ll date another when you leave
It’s likely that you won’t find someone like me
It’s likely that you’ll feel the way I do
It’s likely that I’ll miss you, and you’ll miss me too

It’s now that we both wish to be wrapped in each others arms, with out secret or fear
Only to let us be together, forever, now and here
