Ode to Murray
Oh, you beautiful Murray
How I love your cold water
And the houses that live beside you
 Your wonderful waves
And the way my mom's speed boat cuts into you
 Like slippery steady glass
Oh, how I love hot summer days
When I come and visit you
 And swim on your surface
Looking like I'm dancing with you
I turn red when I'm above you
And I peel for weeks upon our encounter
Oh, how I love you, you amazing lake
And the way you look in the late afternoon
 With the sun setting
And shining reflections on your surface
Oh, how I love you, you gorgeous lake
 With your great weather
 Knowing, in a few weeks
I'll be back for our next date
