Silent Screams
Her cries for help nobody heard
To tell one all was just absurd
Nobody knew nobody cared
All they could do was stop and stare
She looked back at them through wounded eyes
Holding back her tortured cries
Seeking help but never asking
The pain she felt was everlasting
There were non so strong to get through her wall
That hid her true colors and kept out all
She was broken her heart was bruised
She'd been stepped on and she'd been used
She went through years of struggle and years of pain
Though she felt sadness she never felt shame
She was her own person and nobody else
The only one who knew her was herself
