My Peaceful Escape

An escape from reality,
You close your eyes and fall into a peaceful sleep.
Your mind wanders as dreams swirl through your mind.
The stillness of your room,
The darkness of the night.
Creating a story as you sleep,
One that could only take place in a dream.
Hoping it would never end,
But wishing it could come true.
Dreams that make you giggle,
Dreams that make you sad.
Waiting for another night to come,
To visit your world of hopes and wishes.
