The Couple Born to Hate
They were born to hate
But it is not their fate
Their parents didn’t know they had wed
Their parents want each other dead
They decided to run
Only the Friar knowing what they had done
Juliet lay sleeping
While her family and nurse lay weeping
If Romeo had known
He would not have taken a life, his own
In Juliet’s tomb did he die
Later leaving his wife to cry
Poison did he take
Shortly before his wife did wake
The Friar arrived too late
To prevent Romeo’s fate
Hearing noises he advised Juliet to run
What’s to happen next did not stun
To relieve her pain
Juliet’s blood did rain
The two lovers later found dead
Their parents realizing some signs had been misread
Both sides agreeing to erect a statue of the others child
Coming to realize that the feud had been anything but mild
So many things they wish they could undo
Both deciding they would not let the feud continue
A funeral for the couple took place
Together are they now in space
