Mathematics of Love

Under the moonlit skies
Staring into your eyes
We both begin to realize
The connection in our lives

Regardless of the stereotype
Regardless of the state
Regardless of what they thing
This is our own fate

We're only two pieces
Of a huge jigsaw puzzle
But when we are connected
Nothing can be less subtle

The openness of two
The acceptance of none
The connection of one
The mathematics of love

How can such true love
Be under so much scorn
Please stop the hasty opinions
And flat our discern

We care and nurture each other
As any other couple would
But yet we are shot glances
Being completely misunderstood

Eyes are rolled at us
Thoughts of promiscuity on their minds
Not caring and not believing
True love and it's many signs

The openness of two
The acceptance of none
The connection of one
The mathematics of love

:Bridge:
We want to be the muse
The barrier breakers
The stereotype stranglers
We one to be the ones
Who silence all the doubters
Who silence all the whispers
We want to be the two
Who make you change your mind
Who recreate the times
We want to show our love

The openness of two
The acceptance of none
The connection of one
The mathematics of love

Oh yes
We want to show our love
