talking in circles.
desperately.
holding onto something already gone. why?
im on a one way street without a cause. it seems like we're still friends
only out of habit,
because it's all we know,
all we've known since we were kids.
you and I.
me and you.
together.
I talk but do you listen?
You talk but do I care?
We both just fill the silence
because it's what we're taught to do. what society tells us to do.
