The Difference
There is such a difference
Between you and me.
I know about me
But you know about you.
You see me differently
And I really don't know how.
Dark, quiet, and sometimes mean.
I may seem that way,
But that's not true.
I can't show you anything else
And you can't know the truth.
It's all just a front,
Just meant to trick you
About what to think.
I'm kind and caring,
With a hopeful heart.
Silent, but wanting company,
Far too shy to talk to you.
So that's the difference,
But there's so many more.
