Bitter Fairytales
I thought you could be in armor
 A guy especially for me
A sword strapped at your belt
 Riding on a white steed
 I was thinking stupid thoughts
That I could be your princess
I forgot I was in the real world
 Where love counts for less
I'm trying not to be bitter
As I look past my barred gates
I thought you were the one to change my world
I foolishly believed in destiny and fates
Now I've had my wake-up call
From wanting you as the first and last
To kiss me and hold my hand
 Love changes one so fast
 I gave you my heart
And you were prepared to charge to the top
 Then my fairytale shattered
 When you decided to stop.
