Against the sizzling sand, the waves are crashing,
And through my hair the wind is thrashing.
Hot sand, and freezing ocean,
I stand watching the big blue in motion.
As I inch farther into the water, I decide to take a dive,
When immersed underwater, I see all the creatures thrive.
Then, in another beach, the sand is gray,
I am completely speechless, I don't know what to say.
Soon, I see, the beach lined with trash,
There is no longer beauty in watching the ocean crash.
When underwater, the ocean floor is a mess,
With trash everywhere, the amount of life is much less.
As I stop to stare,
I realized a clean, gorgeous beach is surprisingly rare.
I then understood something that made me cry,
The human race's waste has caused thousands of unique creatures to die.
Our biggest wasteland isn't in New York, and we need to understand,
That it isn't even on land.
It is in the ocean, and without a helping hand,
Our beaches are just trash, water, and a little sand.
With a little effort that will act as a potion,
We can revive our stunning ocean.
Water takes up over seventy percent of our planet,
Why don't we make it so both humans and animals can enjoy it.
With just a bit of heart, love, and devotion,
We can replenish our beautiful ocean.
The earth is in our hands and in just one day,
Our world can slip right away.

I really like it, although in some places the rhyming seemed a bit forced you did manage to pull it off which is something not everyone can do. Good work, truly.

Check out my stuff sometime, please?
