War and Poetry
Life and human is uncertain, unending, random chaos.
It teeters on a brink that may never naturally fall to
Either side. To war is to tip the balance toward a darker
Nature – to write and create is to find the light and
Build upon it something Beautiful,
Something vibrant like water color angels.
So analysts and psychologists and experts and professors
Will study the human, concluding in papers and essays that
We’re inherently this or that – but I know that through
Each soul voice, war or poetry, the choice is ours.
